A multi-generational family garden
A newly developed garden design concept in Wokingham, Berkshire, created for a couple approaching retirement and looking to create a welcoming outdoor space to entertain family and friends or simply relax. Their wish was for an open contemporary space with easy to maintain planting and a pleasant integration of a garden office and aluminium pergola in the overall garden layout.
As part of our approach for this large garden redesign we included 2D and 3D space exploration, material and planting palettes, planting design, specifications, tender management and final costing. The garden build is scheduled to start in Autumn 2026.

A whimsical garden
An mmersive garden with a whimsical feel, designed with spaces flowing from one another following an organic and plant rich layout, to create a garden where time slows, a sanctuary to be discovered and enjoyed one step at the time. Spaces are carved along side the gentle elevation and the palette makes the most of natural materials, in keeping with the period house and post industrial style extension.
The garden is scheduled for an autumn 2026 build.
A river side garden on the Thames
A riverside garden design concept under development for a large property by the Thames in Caversham, Berkshire. The project aims to create a space for the family to enjoy spending time by the water. The concept is being developed to minimise the impact on the ecology of the river bank and keep the view onto the river open. The material and plant palette makes use of minimalist and natural materials, muted colours and a selection of plants and trees inspired by river side landscapes.
This design is currently under development.
A botanical nook
A plant rich design developed for a couple looking to create a botanical heaven in their garden and complement their new kitchen extension and patio space with planting with long season interest including a shade border, a romantic english border, a wall garden and a meadow inspired island.
The layout has been optimised to create lush wrap around borders and integrate a private nook with a seating area immersed in planting. A central island was added to create layered views from mutliple points and to partially screen the new seating area, creating a sense of privacy and balancing the space. One of the borders was extended to bring planting close to the kitchen bifold, creating pleasant layered views with the wall garden beyond.
The garden is currently under construction.
