With a lifelong passion for gardening and a background in sustainability, I’ve long been aware of the essential role green spaces play in human well-being and the natural world. This inspired me to establish Botania Garden Design to help shape and nurture nature inspired landscapes in gardens, big and small, from new builds to established, including the ongoing evolution of my own garden to adapt to my family’s changing needs.
Plants are at the heart of my design philosophy. Their beauty, fragrance, and diversity can transform spaces into inviting, inspiring environments that enhance well-being and turn your garden into a natural extension to your home. I draw inspiration from the natural world, the rural landscapes from the British isles and Southern Europe, boutique designers, creators and artisans. For larger projects, I collaborate with a talented team of landscapers and contractors to bring gardens to life.
I hold a PG Diploma with distinction from the London College of Garden Design based at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, and a PG Certificate in Sustainability from Cambridge. Both have deepened my understanding of design and ecology in a changing climate, shaping my approach to creating thoughtful and resilient outdoor spaces.
