Botania Garden Design is a garden and planting design practice based in Wokingham, Berkshire, creating nature inspired outdoor spaces shaped around life’s moments. Rooted in thoughtful design and sustainability, the studio designs immersive gardens that balance lifestyle, wellbeing and sustainability, with a focus on long-term beauty, resilience and connection to place. 

Each garden is conceived as part of a wider landscape, responding to architecture, soil, light and season. Whether complementing a contemporary new-build or a period property, our approach balances structure with softness, and lifestyle with ecological intelligence. 

Plants are at the heart of our design thinking. Their form, fragrance and seasonal evolution have the power to transform outdoor spaces into inviting, sensory environments that enhance daily living and support ecological function. By observing how light, movement and microclimates interact across a site, we shape gardens that feel dynamic, balanced and intrinsically connected to their setting.

We work closely with private clients, architects and landscape contractors across Berkshire and the surrounding areas to create gardens that are cohesive, thoughtful and appropriate to their setting. Whether designing a family garden, a refined residential landscape or a wellbeing outdoor space, I collaborate with a trusted team of landscapers, horticultural specialists and contractors to create spaces that feel natural, purposeful and personal.

Based in Wokingham, Berkshire, we work with clients across the South-East, creating bespoke, sustainable garden design solutions that elevate everyday life and support the natural environment. From design concepts to planting plans and full implementation, we help bring considered garden design to life.

I love gardens, for they are where some of life's most precious moments happen, where memories are made, where children learn about nature, take their first steps, play hide and seek. It's also where grown ups relax and recharge, a coffee in the morning sunshine, an afternoon nap under a tree or a drink in the golden glow of early evening light. 

Originally from the south of France and now based in the UK, my approach to garden and planting design is shaped by a deep appreciation for landscapes, the power of nature on our well being, the effect of seasonality and an appreciation for natural aesthetic.  

My work is grounded in strong design principles and ecological awareness. Sustainability is embedded quietly through right plant, right place thinking, soil health, biodiverse planting and climate resilient garden design, ensuring gardens are not only beautiful, but enduring. 

I hold a Postgraduate Diploma with Distinction in Planting Design from the London College of Garden Design at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainability from Cambridge University. 

These qualifications underpin my ability to integrate sustainable garden design principles, such as soil health, biodiversity, water-wise landscaping and climate-adapted planting, with high-quality design thinking. This blend of formal training and practical insight allows me to create gardens that are not only visually compelling but also environmentally responsible.
